The World Federation of Association of Teacher Edu- cators Board of Directors met in Orlando, Florida in
February 2011 to develop plans for future directions, time-
lines and leadership of the organization as well as planning
for the Second Biannual WFATE Conference to be held in Nairobi Kenya in 2012. VIEW AGENDA

WFATE Conducts First Successful International Meeting

WFATE held its first interational meeting on Feb. 12th‑13th in Chicago, Illinois in conjunction with the American Association of Teacher Educators annual conferfence. Fifty educators from around the world came together for two days to enjoy wonderful keynote speakers Kay Livingston from Scotland and Bill Speer from the United States. Participants also got to choose from among twenty-five quality presentations on many aspects of internationa and culturally diverse teacher education. The next conference is being planned for Kenya in 2012. Watch our web site for more information.
